My biggest “NEWS” is the release of MENOMENA’s “friend and foe” album.
You can listen to it here: but I must endorse seeking out a tangible copy of the disc.
1) It’s a profound, rocking, apocalyptic celebration.
2) The band are all dear buddies of mine. Please, support the musicians.
3) The album drawings/design are by me — hyper-detailed and perforated with lots of diecuts and interactivity and decoder-ring surprises.

This has quickly become one of my favorite albums — great music, brilliant lyrics, and GENIUS artwork/design!! Thank you for providing evidence that real, tangible CDs are better than mp3 downloads!

Great to discover that you have a blog up and running! I’ve only heard bits and pieces of Menomena, so I’ll be sure to give them a more serious listen. That aside, AMAZING cover art. Visual candy, and I love how you’ve applied color.

I liked how the boobies also made eyes. It was truly a neat/rude surprise.

Did you come up with anal timber? I have adopted it.

This album is amazing, which is a real bonus considering I bought it just for Craig’s mind-bogglingly stunning artwork.

I don’t really purchase physical CDs much anymore but this just made number one on my list of must-gets. The samples on their site sound amazing and I can’t wait to get the art and look at it up close. Awesome, awesome work.
